Integrated Display Monitors
Integrated display monitors provide physicians, technicians, and other caregivers with realtime image viewing from multiple sources. All monitors are preprogrammed to allow staff to quickly monitor all relevant vital signs, radiology images, echocardiograms, and electrophysiological data tableside without leaving the patient.
Imaging Equipment
Imaging equipment contains an X-Ray source and camera on opposite sides of the patient's chest. The equipment is able to freely move, under motorized control, around the patient's chest so images can be taken quickly from multiple angles.
As one of a handful of pediatric hybrid operating rooms in the country, Children's is a national resource for physicians, caregivers, and students. Our five cameras provide unprecedented opportunities to display live images to those in the immediate vicinity as well as those viewing remotely. This includes a unique surgical camera for remote procedure viewing and educational purposes.
Control Room
The control room provides a degree of separation from the lab while allowing technicians and physicians to remain connected through technology and in close proximity during procedures. Catheterization data, patient records, previous X-ray studies, echocardiograms, and MRIs are at the caregivers' fingertips when they need it most.
Surgical Table
Children's best-in-class surgical tables are an integral part of the Cardiac Hybrid Operating Room. This table uniquely meets the needs of a fully equipped surgical suite and a state-of-the art cardiac catheterization lab. Unique features enable staff to perform diagnostic imaging through the table and flexible positioning of the patient.
